As a man whom God has conquered and given life, I have a high view of God and His Word, and a low view of man. God’s Word is the authority.

I want God to receive the worship, recognition, adoration, and submission that He deserves, both now and for eternity

I want to realize perfect, lasting, and ultimate fulfillment, peace, and joy in God.

My four broad goals are:
(1) Glorify God,
(2) Know Christ (Phil 3:7-8, Prov 2:1-9) (and thusly be fulfilled in Him),
(3) Make Christ known to others, so that they can know the same joy, peace, and contentment I have in Him, and
(4) Build unity in the body of Christ.

I am both challenged and motivated by passages such as 1 Cor 3:5-15.

I majored in Computer Science at the University of Delaware. I graduated in 2004.

I enjoy people. I like board games (eg Settlers of Catan) and card games and joking around with friends. But mostly I enjoy *being* with people, whatever we’re doing.

I enjoy theology (which is basically looking at and thinking about what the Bible says). I am working through Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology. Although Grudem and I don’t always entirely agree, I really enjoy working through theological positions in a structured way, looking at what the Bible says and developing a position based on what I see in Scripture. I like to discuss theology with people and I gain a lot from group Bible studies.

I am a missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators. As a Language Software Developer, I help create translation and linguistic software to assist in translating the Bible into minority languages around the world.

I’ve enjoyed books such as the Dune series, Lord of the Rings, and 1984.
I’ve enjoyed TV shows such as Farscape, The X-Files, Lost, Futurama, and Newsradio, and movies such as Aliens, The Matrix, Terminator 2, Holy Grail, and Napoleon Dynamite.
In the past I greatly enjoyed Nintendo and computer games such as Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, Half-Life, and Mario Kart.
